The Agricultural Chemical Skill Set (previously known as the Farm or Ag/Vet Chemical Users Course) provides the knowledge and skills required to safely select, prepare, apply, transport and store chemicals. Upon successful completion of this course the ACUP (Agricultural Users Permit) can be applied for through AgVic.

Your AgVet Chemical User Certificate has an expiry of 5 years. In order to renew your Certificate, you do not need to complete the full course again, you only need to complete a shorter Update/Refresher Course. It is important to keep your Certificate up to date due to continual changes to chemicals, procedures and standards.
This course teaches the basics of caring for our natural environment. It provides the skills and knowledge needed for work in a defined context or for further study in conservation and ecosystem management. Work is carried out under general guidance and supervision.
