This comprehensive refresher course is specifically designed to bring you thoroughly up to date with all the important changes that have occurred in AgVet chemical use since you obtained your original certification. It offers an extensive overview and detailed instructions on the entire process of applying chemicals and changes to legislative requirements. The course covers the crucial aspects of transporting, handling, and storing chemicals securely, providing you with the knowledge to maintain high safety standards in your work environment.
This course teaches the basics of caring for our natural environment. It provides the skills and knowledge needed for work in a defined context or for further study in conservation and ecosystem management. Work is carried out under general guidance and supervision.
The qualification allows individuals to develop basic factual, technical, and procedural knowledge in conservation and ecosystem management.
The Agricultural Chemical Skill Set (previously known as the Farm Chemical Users Course) provides the knowledge and skills required to safely select, prepare, apply, transport and store chemicals. Upon successful completion of this course the ACUP (Agricultural Users Permit) can be applied for through AgVic.
